Maintenance Electrician

We are currently looking for an Electrical Engineer to join a market-leading international manufacturing organisation, with impressive growth plans based in the Bexhill-on-Sea area.

• Basic salary circa £47k per annum, plus 5% bonus (annually), overtime at a premium (x1.5)

Key responsibilities of the Electrical Engineer:

• The role will be working as part of the Maintenance Team providing ‘Hands-on' Electrical Technical support to both Production and other internal functions throughout the Factory


• Providing plant-wide mechanical and electrical maintenance service, departmental support and repairs on a wide range of machineries such as Conveyor-based systems, Motors, Drives, Inverters, Safety Circuits, Moulding machines and Packaging machinery


• Ensuring that all production targets are maintained to a high standard


• Within the position you will have the opportunity to be involved with a wide range of maintenance operations and projects, which will be supported by a wide range of training opportunities, including accredited training programs


• The ability to work within a skilled team of engineers permanently

We welcome applications from individuals who have experience as a Maintenance Electrician, Electrical Engineer, or Multi-Skilled Engineering Maintenance background.

Experience and Qualifications of the Electrical Engineer:

• Engineering qualified by either Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, BTEC Level 3 or equivalent qualification - Electrical


• Strong Environmental Health and Safety Awareness


• The ability to work within a fast-paced manufacturing environment undertaking PPM and TPM activities


• Previous experience in undertaking maintenance within a manufacturing environment


• Ability to fault find, repair and provide solutions to machinery problems
