IT Support Technician

IT Support - Gillingham - £23000-£28000 DOE plus excellent benefits

My client, a successful global manufacturing company, is looking to recruit a Junior IT Support / IT Administrator  / Systems Administrator / IT Technician to work handling onsite support requests at their modern manufacturing site in Mere near Warminster and Shaftesbury.

The successful Technician will report into the IT Manager and be responsible for supporting the users and to ensure the stable operation of the organisation's desktop computing environment and in-house computer network, this includes ensuring continuity of computer system services for end-users by providing the technical expertise, assistance and project coordination necessary to install computer software products, modify / repair hardware and resolve technical problems.

The IT Technician will also collaborate with the system administrators to ensure efficient operations and minimize downtime.

As well as handing 1st line technical issues the successful person will also be involved in supporting and developing the ERP system
 
The successful person Must:
- Have excellent IT skills, software and hardware knowledge
- Ideally have database ERP.

365, Power BI knowledge however this can be learnt and developed
- Have a friendly communicative manner
- Enjoy learning and developing
- Live local to Mere, Warminster,Gillingham, Wincanton, Shaftesbury
 
Benefits : The successful person will earn a salary of £23-28k DOE plus, 23days holiday plus Bank Holidays, pension scheme, life cover, quarterly bonus, onsite gym, canteen, free parking, summer function and christmas hampers
 
Hours of work - Full time onsite Working hours (39) 8.30am - 5.15pm (early finish 4.15pm Fridays)
