Job Title              Event Operations Manager

Salary:                 £40,000 + Bonus

Location:             Berkshire

My client is a large-scale venue who host a variety of exciting events throughout the year.

We are seeking an experienced events operations manager to join the team, working closely with other departments to deliver outstanding customer experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the planning and smooth operational delivery of large-scale events on site
• Responsible for the review and action plan to improve delivery of events
• Recruitment and training of full tine and casual staff
• Lead and manage event concepts through to delivery phase and budget reconciliation
• Managing external suppliers and contractors
• Compile project timelines for new events
• Bring innovative solutions to the department
• Deliver outstanding customer events experience

The Ideal candidate:

• Previous experience of managing large-scale events
• Strong man management skills, ability to lead an engaged team
• Solid knowledge of all relevant H&S legislations
• Contract management and negotiation skills
• Experience working on large or multi-site venues
• Excellent communication skills
• Detailed understanding of budget management
