Position: Interim Director of Finance
Salary: Flexible, open – Full time
Location: Budapest
Start date: as soon as possible

We are looking for an Interim Director of Finance or Interim Chief Accountant to join an international hotel brand and help them out to set some financial processes for around 2-3 months.

They are looking to collaborate with freelancers since you will not be part of their payroll but invoice them on a project basis.

Key responsibilities

• Understand the basics of bookkeeping and tax processes
• Making sure tax compliance is being met
• Assist in the creation of annual budgets
• Implementing new finance systems
• Communicate with external parties such us, tax authorities, audits, lawyers etc
• Reconciliation of balance sheet, wages, sales liabilities, and prepayments
• Managing the day-to-day finance operations

For this role, you have

• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a relevant position
• IT skills, especially Excel
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Finance skills,  ability to cost control and perform profit and loss reports
• Experience with Sun, Opera, Simphony or Material Control
• Experience setting up teams and implementing finance systems is a huge plus
• Understanding of Czech law
