Project Manager - IT Services - Oxfordshire (hybrid working)


Up to £55,000 PA

Our client, a well-establish and reputable managed service provider is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join them on a permanent basis.

They provide a wealth of different technical services, predominately to government and defence clients.

Role overview:


Reporting directly to the Head of Project Management, you'll be working within a team of other highly skilled Project Managers delivering complex IT projects of varying demands.

No two days will be the same: you'll be managing a busy workload with ever changing demands.



Responsibilities:


-Manage a variety of different projects in line with their Prince2 based procedures


-Report project updates to PMO, customers, senior management and wider areas of the business when required


-Take the lead on driving delivery of projects, on time and in budget


-Ensure that documentation (PIDs, plans and registers) complies with ISO standards


-Guide wider areas of the business when required


-Lead workshops when required to ensure smooth delivery


-Monitor tasks in the PPM tool and liaise with the Project Coordinator



Requirements:


-Previous experience in leading/delivering on complex IT projects, ideally within the IT Services industry.


-Demonstrable knowledge of project management techniques and processes


-Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver information to all levels


-Hold a project management certification (Prince 2, PMP, Agile etc.)


-Working knowledge of ISO 9001, 2000, 27001 would be advantageous




Offering up to £55,000 PA (potentially negotiable for the right candidate) plus numerous other benefits including 24 days holiday (plus bank), discretionary bonuses, private health benefits and excellent training/further learning opportunities.



WFH: Initially required onsite full time then ability to WFH 2-3 days per week



Working hours: Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:30



Travel: Some travel to client sites may be required
