Band 5 Registered Mental Health Nurse, Peterborough- Band 5

Opportunity available for a Registered Mental Health Nurse to work within an assessment unit, Based In Peterborough

The team sits within a mental health unit at Oak 1 in Peterborough with the role predominately carrying out a full range of registered nurse duties, including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the patient's condition and care with support from the nurse in charge.

As part of this role you will be able to establish therapeutic relationships with service users, and the implementation of evidence based therapeutic interventions with appropriate boundaries in accordance with NMC professional code of conduct.

You will understand NICE quality standards and guidance relevant to area of practice and patient group and be able to prioritise nursing care, recognise deterioration in a patient's condition and alert senior staff immediately.

You will also be able to participate in the health education and explanation of treatment to patients and relatives and
ensure that the requirements of the Mental Health Act 2007 are observed, adhered to, and implemented.

This role is to commence ASAP working minimum 30 hours per week with the shift patterns being a mixed of earlies, Lates & Nights

The hourly rate for nights for this role is:

Monday to Friday 06:00 - 20:00: £19.00 Per Hour
Saturdays / Nights: £22.00 Per Hour
Sunday / Bank Holidays: £25.00 Per Hour

It is essential that candidates have a valid NMC Pin.
