Maintenance Manager

Catfoss Recruitment Ltd are currently in partnership with a well-established specialist manufacturing company based in Oxfordshire and they are looking to recruit a Maintenance Manager on a permanent or interim basis to their team.

Maintenance Manager - Main Roles and Responsibilities

, Lead a maintenance team of multi-skilled engineers
, Improve, develop and implement enhanced PPM's (Planned Preventative Maintenance)
, Conduct root cause analysis on machine breakdowns and plan and execute remedial action to improve reliability and performance
, Improve and champion strong H&S policy adherence of your direct reports
, Identify skill gaps in maintenance team members and plan training and development accordingly.
, Identify obsolescence in machinery and provide business cases with costings for replacement and future scalability
, Maintenance budget responsibility
, Sub-Contractor assessment and management
, Project Manage installations of new machinery and manufacturing plant improvements
, Focus on Continuous Improvement

Maintenance Manager - Experience

, Strong man-management skills and experience
, A strong and resilient communicator, adept at driving cultural change and overcoming objection
, Proven track record of improving and developing maintenance engineering function within a diverse manufacturing environment
, Significant experience of root cause analysis and implementing improvements
, Strong knowledge and experience of mechanical and hydraulic maintenance
, Good electrical and PLC skills, Siemens, Omron etc…

Qualifications: C&G/HNC/HND mechanical / electrical / engineering

Our client will entertain candidatures on either a permanent or interim basis (1-2 year fixed term contract)
