Our client is a 5
* luxury hotel based just west of London who are looking for an experienced Event Operations Manager to lead their team to deliver excellence for all meeting and events.
As Operations lead you will be responsible for the wider team and ensuring exquisite standards are maintained.
Main duties;
- Assist the F&B Director with processes, policies, and procedures
- Manage the day to day operations of meetings, weddings, corporate and private events
- Lead a team of staff to deliver operational excellence and offer training when required
- Conduct regular team meetings with your department and the wider team
- Take charge of recruitment for your team
- Complete forecasts and financial plans for the operations department
- Negotiate F&B prices and train the team on negotiation and upselling
- Always maintain and execute exquisite customer service and hygiene standards and conduct spot checks
Requirements;
- Experience within a similar role in the luxury hotel industry
- Excellent management and leadership skills
- HACCP level 3 qualified
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Hands-on individual with ability to introduce change
- Well presented with an enthusiastic attitude
