Mental Health Care Assistant

Opportunity available for a Health Care Assistant to work within a hospital setting, Based in Bristol

The team sits within the Elizabeth Casson team based at Callington Hospital with the role predominantly delivering high quality care and recovery interventions for service users within designated clinical areas, in collaboration with, and under the indirect supervision of, registered care staff.

You will be maintaining a clean, well-organised, safe and therapeutic environment that meets the needs of service users, carers and colleagues, and to support registered care staff to perform standardised environmental assessments to monitor and improve the care setting.

As part of this role you will also be delivering psychosocially-informed one to one and group interventions aiming to positively impact service users' cognitive and emotional wellbeing.

It is essential you are PMVA trained for this role.

This role is to commence ASAP and will be working full time over 7 days with a range of shifts available including days, nights & long days

The hourly rate for his role is:

Monday to Friday (06:00 - 20:00): £12.00
Saturday / Nights: £14.00
Sunday / Bank Holidays: £16.00
