Event Planner – Stunning Venue

Our client is a beautiful hotel and events venue based in Hertfordshire who are looking for an Event Planner to join their fun and vibrant team.

As Events Planner you will be responsible for reactive enquiries and planning of weddings, corporate and social events.

Main duties;

• Handle reactive event enquiries via telephone, emails and the website
• Create bespoke event briefs based on the customers requirements negotiating upsells where possible
• Conduct venue show rounds with potential clients offering detailed knowledge of packages, layout, F&B etc.
• Manage the event diary to ensure rooms are sold to their potential
• Assist and coordinate at venue open days and wedding fayres 
• Attend weekly event meetings with the wider team
• Create detailed function sheets for all events

Requirements;

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Experience with a variety of events
• Outgoing and bubbly attitude
• Excellent organisational skills
• A great team player
• Driving licence preferred
