Location: York

Salary: £21,684 - £22,684 per year

Full-time: 37.5 hours

The Client:

Our client is a well-established charity with multiple nurseries which provide full and part-time day care for children in the 6 weeks to 5 years age group.

They are looking for a Room Manager to join their team.

Experience Required:



* Nursery: 2 years


* Childcare: 3 years


Responsibilities:



* Provide a fully inclusive environment for children, staff and parents.


* Providing a stimulating, safe and caring Nursery environment which enables each child to reach their full potential.


* To ensure standards outlined in the Early Years Foundation Stage are met.


* To ensure good quality provision is delivered in all areas, such as catering, cleaning and general maintenance.


* Liaise with the Nursery Manager to ensure maximum occupancy levels.


* Act as a Key Person for a group of children where appropriate.


* Regular completion of children's progress records


Requirements:



* Level 3 Qualification in childcare / education / learning in the early years is essential.


* Certificate of Higher Education (required)


* Knowledge of Early Years Foundation Stage


* GCSE Grade C or above in Maths and English is also desirable but not essential.


* You must be a highly motivated and enthusiastic person who can work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
