Our client, a premier precision machined parts supplier are currently on the lookout for an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to join their growing quality department.

The company are a well established and respected precision component supplier, within a global group renowned for its consistent quality.

The Supplier Quality Engineer will be joining a versatile team of quality personnel, whose focus is to maintain the quality of the products and components produced by this top tier engineering company.

Supplier Quality Engineer responsibilities to include:

- Maintain and develop effective relationships with customers, contractors or suppliers.
- Work closely with management, NPI and projects teams to achieve company targets.
- Conduct Supplier Audits (Process and QMS) and manage supplier KPIs
- Champion all areas of supplier Non-conformance (Root cause analysis and Corrective action)
- Take responsibility for First Article Inspection Reports (to AS9102)
- Assist with internal system Audits as part of the internal Quality management system schedule

Experience required as Supplier Quality Engineer:

- Experience in an aerospace quality and manufacturing business
- Extensive working background with industry standards such as AS9100, AS9102
- Ability to lead audits to AS9100 standards
- Confident with Root Cause / Corrective Action 8D format
- Knowledge of heat treatment, plating, Anodising and other special processes
- Self motivated and analytical attitude
- Good numerical skills and an understanding of MS Office tools
- Lead Auditor qualification (desirable)
