Support Worker

We are currently recruiting for a Support Worker to work days and afters within a social care assessment unit in Doncaster.

This is a challenging but extremely interesting role with the possibility for a Support Worker to gain extensive experience with a wide variety of service users.

You will also work alongside a number of additional services and pick up knowledge from various elements of social care agencies.

This role is:

* A COMBINATION OF DAYS (07:00 - 14:30) AND AFTERS (14:30 TO 22:00)

* INITIAL 3 MONTH CONTRACT, WITH POSSIBILITY OF EXTENSION

This is a 33 bed unit where care is provided by Support Workers 24 hours per day and patients are assessment for around 6 weeks and then move onto other appropriate services.

The successful Support Worker will need to have personal care experience and ideally moving and handling training, although this can be provided if necessary.
