A private inpatient mental health hospital based in Thatcham, Berkshire is looking for a Locum Mental Health Nurse to work on an ongoing locum contract.

£250 successful registration bonus!

Location: Thatcham, Berkshire

Pay Rates: (Via Umbrella): £29 - £36ph Ltd

Contract: Locum, Ongoing

Shift Times: Days 07:30am - 20:00pm

Nights 19:30pm - 08:00am

Wards: Acute male wards / PICU for both male and female

This role is perfect for a candidate who is wanting some flexibility with their week but also wanting to book shifts with the hospital each week on a block booking bases.

We are ideally looking for candidates who are wanting to work full time hours and have a minimum of 6 months UK experience supporting clients with mental health issues.

As a mental health support worker you will be working within a clinical mental health environment working with a multidisciplinary team ultimately supporting the Registered Mental Health Nurses in providing care to the patients on the wards.

This role requires that you have full immunisation history, PMVA control and restraint training and practical basic life support training.

If you don't have any of these, we can provide these for you free of cost.

Candidate Requirements

• Must have at least 6 months UK experience working within a mental health setting


• Preferable to be a driver


• Must be looking to commit to 2 or more shifts per week
