Job Title              Sales Director - Maternity Cover

Salary:                 Negotiable

Location:             Edinburgh

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Sales Director to join the dynamic team at a large scale venue based in Edinburgh for a maternity cover contract.

The Sales Director will be responsible for creating and implementing the sales and marketing strategy across the site in order to drive awareness and achieve pre-determined revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop innovative, effective and creative sales strategies
• Build and maintain strong relationships
• Overall responsibility for lead generation and development of new business
• Manage, motivate and educate a team to develop their skills in sales
• Prepare regular budget and management reports
• Meet with key clients to ensure relationships and maintained and nurtured
• Identify new revenue or brand expansion opportunities across the business
• Liaise and work closely with all departments and external agencies

Skills and Experience:

• A proven track record leading sales teams
• Experience within the hospitality or leisure sectors
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong budgeting skills and analytic ability
• A creative thinker
• Strong organisational skills and detail orientated
• Experience managing, guiding and motivating a team
• A strong work ethic.
