Supervising Social Worker

A fostering agency rated "Good" by Ofsted are looking for a Supervising Social Worker to join their team covering Devon.

As the Supervising Social Worker, you will be responsible for recruiting, assessing, supervising, supporting, and training foster carers.

The ideal Supervising Social Worker will have experience working with children and families.

Your responsibilities as a Supervising Social Worker:

• Carry out initial visits to prospective foster carers.


• Be part of their Children and Young People Participations strategy and events


• Supervising managing a caseload of foster carers


• Recruiting & assessing prospective new carers

Requirements of you as a Supervising Social Worker:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)


• A Social Work England registration


• Post qualification experience in Children's Social Work


• Must hold a full UK Driving Licence

Location: Cardiff

Salary scale: up to £38,000 d.o.e + car allowance
