INSURANCE ACCOUNT HANDLER / ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

SALARY £35,000 to £42,000 + COMPANY BONUS

THE OPPORTUNITY:
One of our longest standing clients is now looking to expand their Senior Account Handling team after recent unprecedented growth.

This role will be retaining and winning new business as a Senior Account Handler with up to a 300K book of SME Mid Market business for a company with a 93% retention rate and due to recent retirement's this fantastic role has become available.



The candidate will need to be highly motivated and have experience dealing with clients face to face and the ability to grow their client base.

They will be given a wealth of support from their team who work along side them.



As a Senior Account Handler, you'll be prospecting clients that have been referred to us from a number of sources, they are wanting advice and support and the highest level of services which we endeavour to provide to all our current and prospective clients.



ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Generate new business for the group from digitally sourced lead flow


• Perform fact-finds with your prospects to understand their business and scalability


• Be able to close the deal and sign the prospect as a new client


• Continue to build long-lasting, highly credible relationships with all clients you sign, as you will continue to be their point of contact moving forwards


• Be motivated to develop new business opportunities by networking and growing your portfolio, whilst still maintaining exceptional standards of relationship management with your existing clients

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

• To have strong influencing, negotiating, problem solving and analytical skills


• Adaptable, focused, and professional


• A good level of knowledge of the Insurance market and how this will impact your clients.


• To have Senior Account Handling skills and a detailed knowledge of the core range of products & services


• Sales and service process knowledge, particularly sales through service


• Face to Face relationship building is key as you will be dealing with longstanding clients.


• To keep up to date with insurance industry developments and regulatory changes
