KIDS is looking for passionate and adaptable Sessional Workers to join our summer programme of fun and excitement, a place where you can make a difference.

Working in our Early Years sector you will be helping to support disabled children, or young people and their families.

Learning takes place through a rich mix of play opportunities where the children can engage in their senses and learn to explore in different ways.

You will become part of a fantastic team of highly motivated individuals who love what they do.

The Role:

· Spending time reading to children

· Assisting children in play

· Playing inside or outside or providing children with interesting arts and crafts work

· Providing comfort and reassurance if children are ill or upset

· Ensure the children are cared for in a happy, secure and stimulating environment

· Understand and confident in keeping children safe

· Advise management of any concerns e.g over children, parents or the safety of equipment, preserving confidentiality as necessary

· Be part of the team providing a safe, stimulating environment for the children, with creative and appropriate play opportunities

· Flexible within the working practices of the nursery.

Be prepared to help where needed, including undertaking certain domestic jobs within the nursery e.g.

Preparation of snack meals, cleansing of equipment etc.
