CNC Machinist

If so, my client is currently recruiting for a CNC Machinist to join their site based in Bromborough, Merseyside.

With year-on-year growth they are looking to recruit additional team members to work for their Machine Shop

They are seeking a driven CNC Machinist to join the existing engineering team, operating in their state-of-the-art facility engaged in the manufacture of products for industries such as aerospace.

The CNC Machinist will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines.

Key Responsibilities for the CNC Machinist:

• Loading and Unloading Machining fixtures


• Setting our range of Five Axis and Three Axis Machines


• Using measuring equipment such as micrometres, Vernier's, plug gauges, screw gauges, ring gauges


• Carrying out regular Maintenance and Cleaning of Machines and Tools.


• Good understanding of CNC Programming


• A good understanding of drawings and geometric tolerances


• Good understanding of component drawings

Qualifications & Skill Set for the CNC Machinist:

• Prior experience using an CNC Machine
  
  *Essential


• Experience of working to ISO9001 or AS/EN9100 quality approvals
  
  *Desirable


• Experience of working in the aerospace/defence/automotive sector
  
  *Desirable
