THE OPPORTUNITY:

Get Recruited are partnered a growing Accountancy Practice in the Exeter area.

My client has gone through significant growth over the last 12 months, with 35% YOY growth.

They're looking to hire a Senior Client Accountant, to work in a busy practice environment and work alongside a growing team of 15 and reporting into the Associate Partner.

SENIOR CLIENT ACCOUNTANT DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Preparing accounts for a portfolio of clients including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.


• Assistance in the preparation of annual accounts to meet statutory requirements and deadlines.


• Assistance in the preparation of corporation/personal tax returns to meet HMRC standards and deadlines.


• Liaising directly with clients, answering their queries, and providing on-going business advice.
  
  You will be the first port of call for your portfolio of clients.


• Bookkeeping duties using Xero, Quickbooks or Sage


• Actively support and co-operate with other team members including mentoring trainees when required.


• Managing the monthly management accounts workflow cycle


• Acting as the primary point of contact for Clients


• Performing a detailed review of management accounts prepared by the team.


• Delivering Management information to Clients

SENIOR CLIENT ACCOUNTANT KEY EXPERIENCE:

• Working in a similar Client Accountant or Senior Accountant role


• ACCA or CIMA part qualified or recently qualified with either industry or practice experience.
  
  


• Competent with MS Excel


• Xero, Quickbooks or Sage systems experience (desirable)

THE SENIOR CLIENT ACCOUNTANT SALARY IS UP TO £50,000 BASE + BENEFITS + STUDY + HYBRID WORKING
