Nursery Nurse Practitioner

Salary: £25,000 - £27,500 per year

I am currently recruiting for a family run nursery who are passionate in their belief that all children are fascinating, individual little people with a lot to contribute to the wider world.

They are seeking an Nursery Nurse Practitioner to join their team.

The Role:

As a Nursery Nurse Practitioner you will assist in maintaining the clients Ofsted rating.

You will engage in collaborative working using a Parent Partnership approach and adhere to all legal and statutory requirements as stated by relevant governing bodies.

Flexible working required to undertake shift patterns of 10 hours and 8 hours on a rota basis.

Duties:



* You will implement the daily routine in the nursery, including the daily timetable, planning, observations and assessments.




* Manager, observe and assess activities to engage and teach the children, following each area of the Early Years curriculum.


* Work in partnership with parents, carers, nursery staff, senior leaders and external agencies to meet the needs of every child.


* Adhere to guidance documentation of the Early Years Foundation Stage, ensuring that learning outcomes are being attained for the children.


* Provide learning, development and care for children aged 3 months to 3 years + in the nursery setting.




* Ensure each child in your care is kept safe and is provided with fun and stimulating play experiences, as well as responding to their personal needs.


* Follow and implement the processes and procedures specifically in; Safeguarding and Child Protection, Health & Safety/Food Hygiene regulations.


Requirements:



* A minimum of 1 years' work experience in Nursery / Childcare setting.


* At least 1 year of work experience in Management


* NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or willingness to work towards this qualification.


* Flexible working and a willingness to work a 4 or 5 day work pattern.


* Must have excellent communication skills - written and verbal also ICT and interpersonal skills
