An Internal Sales Support Representative is required to join a leading provider of automotive information and vehicle repair data, supporting an internal and field-based sales team by moving leads through the sales pipeline, from initial outreach to nurturing and qualifying sales leads.

Our ideal candidate will have a customer focussed approach and be a confident communicator.

Previous experience in the automotive industry is beneficial.

This role is remote / home-office based with occasional travel throughout the UK and to company HQ in Cologne.

Salary £30k-£35k + 28 days holiday (plus bank holidays) + gym pass + access to Linked-in Learning

The Role:

  • Plan, implement and execute sales activities to fully support the sales team.

  • This will include prospecting, qualifying leads, setting appointments, scheduling product demonstrations or follow up calls and support the process of closing the sale where necessary.

  • After full product training, the Sales Support Representative will fully access leads' buying interest.

  • Accurately gather and update customer information using the CRM software.

  • Provide constant feedback to the sales and marketing teams.

  • Support with data cleansing and reporting.

  • Refine the sales process to improve conversion rate.

  • Maintain industry and product knowledge to be able to be a trusted source for both prospects and customers and successfully manage and overcome objections.

The Candidate:

  • Proven, successful experience in a sales support, customer support or internal / inside sales role is essential.

  • Our ideal candidate will be business fluent in English with an additional European language (preferred is German, Italian, French or Spanish).

  • Previous knowledge, experience or an interest in the automotive industry is advantageous.

  • This is a self-sufficient position, requiring a self-starter with a passion for sales and customer service.

  • You should be a proficient user of Microsoft Excel and have previously worked with a CRM type software.

  • Resilience, persuasion and the ability to bounce back from rejection are imperative for this position.
