Location: Long Eaton, Nottingham (NG10)

Salary: £10- £13 per hour depending on experience

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Furniture Polisher to join a well-established family business, specializing in handcrafted upholstery of luxury furniture.

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality, hand-built, classical and contemporary upholstered furniture.

Role & Responsibilities:

As a furniture Polisher, you will be responsible for:



* Perform sanding, staining, and polishing of furniture products using Oak, Beech, and Walnut wood.


* Prepare the furniture for polishing and finishing.


* Mix colors or stains and apply them with a brush, rag, or spraying on lacquers.


* Match different polish colors to different types of timber.


* Maintain a high level of attention to detail throughout the entire process to ensure efficiency in production and meet deadlines.


Requirements:



* Minimum of 1 year experience as a Furniture Polisher.


* Knowledge of high-pressure spraying systems.


* Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.


* Excellent time management skills.


* Must have high concentration and be able to stand for long periods.


* Must be practical, methodical, and reliable.


Benefits:



* Working hours: 6 am-3 pm Monday-Thursday, 6-11 am Friday.


* On-site parking.
