Position: Credit Controller - 6 Month Maternity Contract
Location: Cork

Our client, one of Ireland's leading Electrical Wholesalers, is currently looking to recruit an experienced Credit Controller to join their team in Cork.

This role would suit a confident, self-motivated individual who is comfortable in a busy environment and has excellent communication skills.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the ledger of a large customer base.

  • Cash collections, adhering to controls to ensure timely payment of customer invoices.

  • Regular review of debtors and follow up actions.

  • Issuing copies of invoices and statements as and when requested by customers.

  • Liaising effectively with customers to manage their accounts and resolve any payment queries.

  • Managing the daily cash (counting the float & ordering change) along with accurately managing the petty cash for all three Cork branches.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have at least 1 years' experience in a similar position, collecting payments from clients.

  • Must have excellent English and ability to liaise effectively with customers.

  • Experience in managing a large customer base.

  • Experience in completing account documentation for end of month payments.

  • Ability to work on own initiative and within a team.
