Childcare Regulatory Solicitor

The respected and award-winning national law firm is looking for a Childcare Regulatory Solicitor to join its team in Liverpool.

You will be a qualified solicitor with experience as a regulatory lawyer acting for childcare matters.

The successful candidate would work as an In-house Advocate of Child Care cases on behalf of Local Authority clients with admin support.

You will be a keen team player with an ability to support other colleagues as work demands.

This opportunity is open to lawyers seeking both full-time and part-time work.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• To provide In-House Advocacy Service to Team in respect of Child Care cases, providing advice and representation to clients


• Conduct legal proceedings before the courts and tribunals, including advocacy


• Attend off-site visits and meetings, such as Court Hearings, clients' offices etc


• Assist other members of the team with their caseloads of childcare cases as time permits


• Assist the team and wider department with the development of the regulatory practice

This Childcare Regulatory Solicitor role would be best suited to a solicitor with experience from junior level up to 10 years' PQE.

Progression opportunities will be tailored to the specific individual's needs/wants.

More senior candidates will be considered for a position to work with senior Partners and be valued as a key member of the wider firm.
