Commercial Contracts Lawyer

Service Care Legal are currently working alongside a Local Authority, based in Peterborough, which is in need of an experienced Commercial Contracts and Procurement Lawyer to join their team.



Role: Commercial Contracts and Procurement Lawyer

Location: Peterborough, office attendance once a week

Contract Length: 3 months ongoing, 37 hours a week

Rate of Pay: £45- £55ph

The Role:

• Provide effective and efficient legal advice to the County Council, partners and external customers to the highest standard


• Drafting contracts and advising on procurement from start to finish

• The role will predominantly deal with Procurement and Contracts, Partnerships, Charities and companies, General commercial and contract work, G Cloud contracts, JCT & NEC, Inter Authority Agreements, Subsidy Control and Corporate Law

The Person:

• Someone with a minimum of 3+ years of PQE in Commercial Contracts and Procurement Law


• Ideally someone who has worked for a Local Authority within a Commercial Contracts legal team


• Someone with current, hands on experience of drafting legislation
