Job Title: Business Support Officer - Allocations and Lettings

Role Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Business Support Officer to join our Allocations and Lettings team.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide efficient and effective first-time resolutions to customer enquiries, while also offering team support and performing general administrative tasks as needed.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Handle customer enquiries, providing first-time resolutions and escalating complex issues to the Allocations and Lettings Team when necessary.

  • Provide administrative support to the Allocations and Lettings Team, which manages all Allocations and Lettings within North Counties.

  • Maintain filing systems, handle correspondence, and assist with document scanning and printing.

  • Utilize our Organizational Software System QL/NEC and follow policies and legislation relevant to the role.

  • Foster a customer-focused approach by working closely with colleagues, demonstrating respect and empathy for customer needs.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in service delivery.

  • Perform any other duties appropriate to the level of the post.


Requirements:



  • Strong commitment to delivering excellent customer experience and upholding company values.

  • Ability to prioritise tasks and see them through to completion.

  • Experience in a customer-facing role.

  • Demonstrated understanding of the importance of confidentiality and the ability to handle sensitive matters professionally.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Flexibility to work collaboratively as part of a team and support colleagues in different areas.

  • Knowledge of housing policy and procedures, as well as experience working with vulnerable residents, is desirable.

  • Familiarity with health and safety requirements and a relevant qualification would be advantageous.
