Cleaner

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our clients team based in the beautiful city centre of Bristol.

The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for employees, clients, and visitors.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work independently.

This is a physically demanding role that requires stamina and the ability to follow cleaning protocols effectively.

Monday to Friday

4 hour shifts/ 6/7/8 hour shifts

Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors, surfaces, and furniture.


• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and replenish supplies as needed.


• Empty trash and recycling bins and ensure proper disposal of waste.


• Maintain cleanliness in common areas, including break rooms, meeting rooms, and corridors.


• Clean windows, glass partitions, and other surfaces as necessary.


• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and report any shortages or equipment malfunctions.


• Adhere to established cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure consistent cleanliness standards.


• Follow safety guidelines and use cleaning chemicals appropriately to prevent accidents or hazards.


• Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate personnel.


• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure efficient workflow.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in cleaning and housekeeping, preferably in a professional setting.


• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and chemicals.


• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.


• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.


• Physical stamina to perform manual labor and operate cleaning equipment.


• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.


• Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices.


• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and overtime when required.
