Model Based Systems Engineer

Role Summary

We have an exciting new contract opportunity based in Dorset as a Model Based Systems Engineer.

The role will be an initial 12-month contract and will provide you with the opportunity to work on high profile programmes, with many technological challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Creation and delivery of architectural artefacts.


• Completion of ad-hoc (architecture related) project tasking.


• Stakeholder engagement workshops.


• Supporting the System Requirements and Design Teams.


• Providing guidance and mentoring to other engineers.

Key skills & qualifications

• Experience developing architectures and models from a SOSA level into solution architectures and systems design.


• Experience in the use of two or more of the following frameworks: MODAF, NAF, ArchiMate and SysML.


• Experience with standard architectural modelling tools e.g., System Architect, Sparx EA, MooD, CAMEO, Capella.


• Ability to communicate technically with Engineering teams and the customer.


• This role will require SC Clearance.

Location: Christchurch, Dorset

Rate: £57.33 per hour (inside IR35)
