Sales Executive - Central London - Up to £35,000!

I am working with an exciting bar group in London who are rapidly growing! They are looking for a Sales Executive to join their team! This is a great opportunity to grow and develop within your career! 

Role overview:

  • Effectively converting incoming enquiries and efficiently planning confirmed meeting, conference and event bookings across three high profile London venues
  • Maximising all event sales opportunities through upselling, building strong client relationships, conducting thorough post-event feedback processes and liaising with past bookers to encourage repeat business or cross-brand sales to achieve revenue targets
  • Working closely with the Event Sales Manager and relevant departments to initiate new revenue streams

Principle responsibilities:

  • Managing events (meetings, conferences and full venue buy outs) from enquiry through to arrival in venue, including all administration necessary and liaison with the operational teams
  • Maintaining the highest level of client satisfaction by adhering to thorough, high standard enquiry handling, event planning and post-event feedback processes
  • Providing eloquent, professional proposals which meet customer requirements and arrive within the agreed service level agreement
  • Arranging and conducting venue showrounds and familiarisation trips to encourage event enquiry conversion and relationship building with the clients
  • Ensuring all event details are recorded, reported and displayed in a clear, concise manner
  • Ensuring all issues affecting guests’ visits are raised through the appropriate channels to ensure that customer care standards are maintained and exceeded
  • Revieing and exercising action plans to maximise business opportunities across all venues
  • Utilising booking systems and CRM to manage, record and evaluate customer interactions
  • Achieving sales based targets on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  • Liaising with 3rd party agencies to handle incoming event enquiries and convert them
  • Assisting the wider Event Sales team with attending industry exhibitions and shows

  • A highly sales driven individual with an outgoing and positive personality
  • Experience in building authentic, productive business relationships
  • A self starter with the ability to take on extra responsibility and manage their workload efficiently and take initiative when not lead
  • Good negotiation skills
  • A proven ability to think and act with speed and efficiency in a fast paced environment
  • Exceptional organisational and administration skills with superior attention to detail
  • Experience of planning and delivering large events or conferences is desired
  • Experience with event CRM systems is desired
