Quality Manager

We're currently looking for a Quality Manager to join long standing manufacturing company based in Linford, Essex.

The Quality Manager role is a critical position that involves managing all aspects of quality assurance, within the business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products and services meet the highest quality standards, and that the working conditions within the company are safe.

Working collaboratively with both sites, you will ensure that quality standards and product technical performance are maintained.

Experience required as a Quality Manager;

• Ideally you will have experience within a similar role; Process Manager / Continuous Improvement Manager / Process Improvement at Supervisor or Manager level.




• Experience of working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment is essential (Food Manufacturing, Chemical Process, Packaging, Automotive etc)




• Knowledgeable in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing with a broad understanding of complex manufacturing processes




• Experience in the tools and techniques needed to support Built in Quality and Structured Problem Solving, preferably with a good understanding of Lean methodologies.




• Ideally experience in Aircrete/Concrete/Building products




• Key Responsibilities as a Quality Manager;




• Ensure the Company maintains its accreditations (ISO9001 Quality Standards)




• Responsible for identifying, reporting, and raising quality issues/non-conformances, then resolving them to ensure minimal impact to the customer.




• Be the primary contact for communicating with customers to resolve any quality issues in a timely manner.




• Manage the company's QSHE Training/Skills Matrix.




• Support production with best practice inspection techniques/dimensional checks.




• Analyse existing Quality practices and procedures and proactively implement changes where necessary.
