Role: Refrigeration Engineer

The Role

We are a national facilities management company employing over 4500 employees across the country, employing over 1500 engineers within the Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, Mechanical and Electrical industry with multiple offices.

We are well known to the Retail industry holding our contracts on a longer term basis.



We are currently recruiting for a Refrigeration Engineer to cover between 4-8 stores in your local area carrying out service, maintenance and repair whilst delivering excellent customer service.



Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair refrigeration and HVAC systems in our supermarket locations ( Packs, Integrals, Coldrooms and Display Cabinets )


• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on refrigeration and HVAC systems


• Respond to emergency repair calls and perform necessary repairs promptly


• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies


• Document all work performed and maintain accurate records


• Train and guide junior technicians as needed

Essential Qualifications / Experience:

• FGAS or NVQ Level 2 Refrigeration& Air Conditioning - required


• C02 / Hydrocarbons - not required but desirable


• Minimum 12 months recent experience working on Refrigeration Equipment


• Driver's Licence

Package:

• Salary: £29,136 (Improver Level 1), £32,254 (Improver Level 2), £35,248 (Engineer Level 1) or £41,888 (Engineer Level 2) -


• Up to £46,000 PA


• 45 HR Week

• Overtime paid at time and a half


• 4% bonus, subject to achievement of targets.

• On call 1 in 4 ( 2hrs banked per week for the Saturday, anything else at x1.5 )
