Industrial Sales Manager

£50k basic, £9k car allowance + bonus!

Southampton (home based with travel required)

My client a leading Industrial Products Manufacturer, is currently seeking a talented and results-driven Industrial Sales Manager for the UK & Ireland region.

The position will be responsible for driving the growth of Industrial sales within the designated geographic area.

This is a key role in achieving operating and sales goals, where the successful candidate will develop strategies, foster customer relationships, and provide outstanding service to customers.


  • Develop and execute strategic plans to maximise Industrial product sales, setting and tracking goals and objectives for the UK & Ireland region.

  • Collaborate with the Outside Sales team to achieve financial targets for Industrial products.

  • Mentor and support the sales team to drive increased sales for Industrial products.

  • Identify and capitalise on high-potential sales opportunities, with a specific focus on industrial products.

  • Expand customer base by developing new accounts and nurturing existing relationships.

  • Foster strong relationships with key franchised Industrial manufacturers to increase sales and enhance visibility in the market.

  • Work closely with suppliers and representative firms to drive new business and reinforce brand presence.

  • Develop yearly sales budgets for Inside Sales Representatives and Outside Sales Representatives.

  • Promote a culture of teamwork, continuous improvement, customer focus, and ethical behaviour in line with corporate vision and values.

  • Ensure compliance with internal and external quality, customer, and government requirements.

  • Collaborate with the Product and Marketing Departments to support new product launches and strategic initiatives, driving sales growth and improving margins.


  • Bachelor's degree ideally

  • Professional selling and management experience, preferably within the electro-mechanical components industry.

  • Demonstrated success in profitably growing sales and managing customer relationships.

  • Strong leadership and management competencies.

  • Willingness to learn product knowledge and work closely with engineering teams to enhance expertise.

  • Sophisticated selling skills, including problem-solving and solution-oriented approaches.

  • Ability to quickly assess potential accounts and manage multi-site operations.
