Assembly Engineer

We are currently recruiting for our client in poole  an experienced Mechanical Assembly Engineer.

Specific Duties

The ideal candidate will be familiar with the sub-assembly of machined components to aerospace requirements and standards including: 

- Bearing and bush assembly
- Lee plug and helicoid inserts
- Valves assembly [valve seats]
- Fasteners/wire locking/beading
- Self-inspection and testing of finished product

You must be able to understand 2D drawings and assembly instructions/technique. 

Previous experience in mechanical assembly is essential and experience in pressure testing would be an advantage.
