Director of Reservations – Washington DC
Location: Washington, DC
Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 + Relocation Assistance + Benefits + PTO

The Company:

Our client is an esteemed 5-star resort located in Washington, DC, renowned for delivering exceptional guest experiences and providing luxurious accommodations.

They are looking for a Director of Reservations to spearhead their reservations team and oversee all related operations.

Main Responsibilities:

• Oversee all day-to-day activities of the reservations department, providing the highest level of service for esteemed guests
• Work closely with other department executives to develop and implement strategies to help maximise the resort’s financial goals
• Analyse reports including financial and performance metrics, identify areas for improvement and make strategic recommendations accordingly
• Go above and beyond the guest’s expectations, ensuring all customer questions and concerns are rectified in a prompt and efficient manor
• Recruit, train and manage the performance of all the reservations team.
  
  Create staff schedules, approve attendance for payroll and continuously provide training and development opportunities to enhance the guest experience
• Stay up to date with local competition, industry trends and best practices to optimise the guest experience and drive repeat business

Director of Reservations Requirements:

• At least 2 years experience in leading a reservations team
• Experience working at a 5-star luxury hotel/resort is essential!
• Forbes experience is an advantage
• A self-motivated, independent leader with excellent communication, organisation and time management skills
• Able to work on a flexible schedule
