Mental Health Senior Practitioner

West Sussex County Council is looking for a Senior Practitioner to join in their Mental Health Team.

This is a Locum Social Work role.

The ideal Social Worker will have knowledge and experience working in a mental health environment.

The key to success in this role is to be able to start a contract confidently without the need for supervision.

Your responsibilities as a Mental Health Senior Practitioner:

• Work as part of a specialist mental health team

• Leading on specialist areas of service delivery


• Represent the local authority at a number of regional meetings with key stakeholders from other Local Authorities


• Provide forward thinking strategies and solutions

Requirements of you as a Mental Health Senior Practitioner:

• A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)

• A valid Social Work England registration

Location: South-East England, West Sussex

Umbrella pay rate: up to £40.00 per hour
