Our well-established client is a leading Food Manufacturer in the Luton area.

Due to continuous growth they are currently looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical bias to join their successful team.

The chosen candidate will be responsible for the daily upkeep of all production machinery to ensure production runs smoothly.

Commutable from Luton, Milton Keynes, Northampton, Daventry, Oxford, Bedworth, Corby, Nuneaton, Aylesbury, Bicester and Coventry.

 

Key Duties - Maintenance Engineer:

- Reactive and preventative electrical maintenance and repairs of food production machinery including check weighers, metal detectors, multi vacs and multi-head ovens

- Preventative tasks

- Continuous improvement projects

- Working as part of a thriving team

 

Key Skills / Experience Required - Maintenance Engineer:

- A time served or apprentice trained Maintenance Engineer with either an Electrical bias

- Food or plastics manufacturing industry OR automation experience

- Relevant Engineering qualification

- PLC fault finding experience is desirable but not essential

- Positive attitude at all times

- Self-motivated, enthusiastic and a high standard of personal performance

- Flexible and reliable

 

The Package:

- Starting salary up to £50k, depending on experience and qualifications

- Bonus scheme

- Overtime available enhanced rates

- Holiday, Pension and other benefits available

- Choice of shifts, Sat-Weds or Sun-Weds, 7am-7pm
