MediTalent are working with a leading provider of mental health services in the UK, who are seeking an experienced Specialty Grade Doctor.

As a Specialty Grade Doctor in the PICU, you will play a critical role in the assessment, treatment, and care of individuals experiencing acute psychiatric crises.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a multidisciplinary team and make a difference in the lives of patients with severe mental health conditions.

Duties of your role will involve: participating in the assessment and management of individuals experiencing acute mental health crises, including risk assessment and crisis intervention.

You will collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans based on patients' needs and treatment goals.

You will conduct thorough psychiatric assessments, including history-taking, mental state examinations, and risk assessments.

You will also prescribe and review medications, ensuring appropriate monitoring and management of side effects.

You will monitor patients' progress, including response to treatment and any adverse effects, adjusting care plans as necessary.

• GMC Registered Doctor


• Experience in psychiatry


• Section 12 approval (desirable but not essential)
