Role Overview – Data Administrator:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Data Administrator to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive business administration support for our Dependency and Recovery (D&R) contracts.

These services primarily aim to engage People on Probation (POPs) with substance misuse issues, assisting their transition into community substance misuse services and related support systems.

Responsibilities – Data Administrator:


  • Contribute to and monitor the targets set by Forward and the commissioners, with a focus on measuring outcomes and attendance rates.
  • Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with partner agencies to facilitate effective data collection and reporting.
  • Ensure accurate and timely data submissions, including the analysis and auditing of data to identify performance concerns and errors.
  • Support the overall administration of the service, including secretarial duties and maintaining data entry and monitoring systems.
  • Collaborate with the team to collate statistical information accurately, paying close attention to detail and taking minutes during meetings.
  • Maintain electronic record systems and ensure the security and confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills when dealing with individuals at all levels, as well as in preparing correspondence.

  • Hold an intermediate certification or possess demonstrable experience in Microsoft packages.
  • Have previous experience in providing administrative support for a large team.
  • Possess a proven track record in accurately collating statistical information, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate experience in maintaining electronic record systems.
  • Hold excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with individuals at all levels and work autonomously.
  • Hold or be willing to work towards a Business Studies or equivalent IT qualification.

Requirements – Data Administrator:


  • Intermediate certification or demonstrable experience in Microsoft packages.
  • Previous experience in providing administrative support for a large team.
  • Proficiency in accurately collating statistical information with a keen eye for detail.
  • Experience in maintaining electronic record systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with individuals at all levels and work independently.
  • Familiarity with the aims of Forward and a commitment to supporting the organization's ethos.
  • Proactive and quick-thinking with the ability to use initiative effectively.
  • Resilient problem-solver who learns from mistakes and embraces personal and professional growth.
  • Adaptability to thrive in fast-paced and ever-changing environments.
