Architectural Technologist (Retail Projects - Lead / Job Runner)

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum

The Role:

Join their UK team as a highly-skilled Job Runner / Lead Architectural Technologist, managing projects and design teams, ensuring seamless execution from concept to completion.

A pivotal role with a focus on projects valued up to £60M.

Responsibilities:



* Lead and manage architectural projects, adhering to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.


* Collaborate with clients and design teams, understanding project requirements and constraints.


* Utilise technical expertise to develop detailed architectural drawings, plans, and specifications.


* Oversee and mentor architectural technologists, ensuring efficient project delivery.


* Conduct regular site visits, resolve construction-related issues, and ensure compliance with standards.


* Coordinate with external stakeholders for approvals and permits.


* Review and approve technical documentation for accuracy and consistency.


* Stay updated with architectural technology and sustainable practices.


* Act as a point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and feedback.


* Collaborate with the business development team on proposals and technical expertise for new projects.


Requirements:



* Minimum 5+ years of proven experience as an Architectural Technologist, focusing on retail projects (fit-out projects).


* Bachelors degree or higher in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related field.


* Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar.


* Familiarity with UK building regulations, planning permissions, and relevant codes.


* Experience leading projects valued at a minimum of £10M-£15M.


* Must have UK-based experience.
