HGV Technician (C or C+E Certified/HGV Repair Diploma)

Salary: £16.00 - £24.00 per hour rate (BOE)

Location: Cambridge, Cambridgeshire

The Client:
Our client is a renowned Waste Management and Recycling Company, specialising in sustainable solutions for the waste industry.

The Role:
They are currently seeking a skilled HGV Technician with expertise in vehicle maintenance and repair.

Join their team to manage workshop activities and maintain vehicles to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:



* Plan workshop workload and communicate schedules to drivers and operations team


* Conduct in-house vehicle maintenance for MoTs and servicing


* Oversee transport workshop operations


* Collaborate with managers to ensure vehicle maintenance meets required standards


* Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and prevent defects


* Manage relevant stocks and communicate stock movements


* Provide support to the maintenance team based on business priorities


Requirements:



* Previous experience in a similar role


* Light and Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Competence Diploma or equivalent qualification


* C or C+E license (preferred but not essential)


* Experience in Light and Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair


* Proficient in vehicle maintenance


* HGV driving experience (preferable)
