Fabrication Supervisor / Welding Supervisor - Tiverton - £Negotiable
 
My Client, a very successful manufacturer is looking to recruit a Fabrication Supervisor / Welding Supervisor / Welding Team leader to join their team in Tiverton Somerset.

 The successful candidate will manage a team of approx.

8-10 welders and fabricators (MIG & Tig welding).

 This is a day based role and you will be working Monday - Thursday 07.30-16.30 and Friday 07.30 - 12.30pm.

 Overtime is possible
  
As the Fabrication Welding Supervisor main duties will include:
·Overseeing a team of 8 -10 fabricators and welders (MIG & TIG Welding).


·Ensuring right first-time manufacture and quality standards are met 
·Problem solve fabrication and welding process issues
·Management and organisation of departmental paperwork and team personnel ensuring both completion targets and customer delivery timescales are met 
·Attend production and performance KPI (Key Performance Indicator) meetings.


 
Key skills required for the role:
·Fabrication and Welding qualifications or experience essential.


·Manufacturing or Production Engineering team management experience preferred
·Good IT skills; experience of Microsoft, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
·Experience in the implementation and programming of a robotic welding cell would be an advantage.


·Experience with laser cutting would also be an advantage.
