Interim Health & Safety Manager


  • Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety policies, procedures, and guidelines specific to food production operations.

  • Conduct regular risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement.

  • Train and educate employees on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and the correct use of protective equipment.

  • Investigate incidents and accidents, identify root causes, and develop corrective action plans to prevent recurrence.

  • Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and standards.

  • Maintain accurate records and produce reports on safety performance, KPIs, and improvement initiatives.


Desired Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, NEBOSH or related field.

  • Proven experience as a Health & Safety Manager within the food production industry.

  • Deep understanding of relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in food safety and health.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and engage teams.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
