R&D Manager / Consultant – Crisps!

Please note this job role can be based in Dubai or you can work remotely – full time or consultancy role.

This position is very brand specific.

Salary: AED 50 to 65K pm all inclusive

Such an exciting opportunity for this well-established but progressive company who are now looking for a R&D Manager or Consultant who specialises in crisps.

What does the role involve?

• Responsible for developing new and improving existing products from concept stage to launch stage.
• Completion of new products with specific timelines and execute all R&D activities connected to particular project.
• Responsible for process development & optimization.
• Pre-launch storage studies and shelf life studies of new product.
• Search new suppliers to source ingredients of RM & PM that complement our existing product range.
• RM & PM specification and selection & recommendation of packaging material.
• To coordinate with manufacturing for production and firming up process methodology and SOP’s and ensure smooth scale up from lab to shop floor production.
• Liaising between production, marketing and quality assurance department to produce a desired product at an acceptable quality standard.
• Documentation and online modification of recipes, routing and formulas in ORACLE.
• Maintenance of COA and specification sheets of new ingredients in initial stages.

We are looking for someone currently holding a similar job title and working for a very strong & relevant FMCG brand, Gulf experience not required but must be willing to relocate.
