Location: Wolverhampton, West Midlands
Salary: £45K (Negotiable) + Excellent Benefits
Our client is a newly opened children's home passionate in providing accommodation and conditions for growth, in a stable environment for young people with in their care.
They are looking for a Registered Manager to join their team.
You will provide a caring home environment in which young people will be catered for whilst encouraging independent living and choice.
Duties:
* You will be safeguarding the young people in your care and support them at all times.
* You will effectively and efficiently promote the highest professional standards.
* Planning and implementing programmes and activities for individual young people to help them thrive and develop independence.
* You will engage with the relevant internal and external stakeholders, to develop the performance of each member of your team to the highest professional standard and capability.
* Ensure that young people receive the highest standards of intervention, care, therapy and support, where necessary and in the interests of young people.
* Ensure the home has an effective and workable rota that fulfils legal obligations
* Your leadership skills effectively maintain organised delivery of exceptional care services by staff for each individual young person.
Requirements:
* At least 2-3 years' experience (at a senior level) within a childcare
* Level 5 Leadership & Management (or working towards)
* Level 3 Health & Social Care (Children & Young People).
* Have 2 to 3 year's experience as a Deputy Children's Home Manager / at a senior level.
* You will have a excellent working knowledge of Ofsted standards and requirements
* Knowledge and experience of implementing the National Minimum Care Standards for Children's Homes.
* Ideally, have a track record of Ofsted 'Good' or 'Outstanding' ratings maintained over a period of up to 3 years or more.
* Enhanced DBS check required
