One of the Europe's leading players in rail logistics is looking to recruit into their genuinely integral and highly regarded In-house legal team by recruiting a qualified solicitor with 2-6 years years PQE.

Reporting into the Head of Legal who in turn has a solid line into the group wide GC.

This is a challenging however hugely rewarding position which offers a commercially minded lawyer unparalleled access to major projects and a blue chip caseload.

Ideally you'll have some exposure to commercial or contract law, be that a training seat or some PQE gained from a reputable law firm or In-house department.

Those candidates with a demonstrable desire to work In-house and necessary commercial mindset will also be considered but there is so much more to the role than general company commercial and the legal team is central to the whole UK operation.

As such, those with commercial litigation background, corporate, construction, or insolvency may be of interest.

The team is extremely supportive, long standing and populated by solicitors with a stellar pedigree.

It's likely to suit someone who will thrive in commercial exposure they will enjoy and offer a fantastic foundation to anyone with ambitions of working at the highest echelons of commerce.

Salary is likely to be in the region of up to £67k with a hugely generous pension and bonus and there is an option to work largely from home if desired, with office presence in south Yorkshire being a day or two per week.
