Chef de Cuisine – The Caribbean
Location: Antigua
Salary: $4,455.65 USD Net Per Month

The Company:

My client is an All-Inclusive Resort in The Caribbean on a private island in Antigua.

I am assisting them in their search of a passionate Chef de Cuisine to join the resort’s culinary operations and work with the Executive Chef to provide exceptional cuisine for guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Alongside the Executive Chef, manage the day-to-day culinary operations at the resort
• Ensure the food is prepared, plated, and served efficiently according to hotel recipes and standards
• Train and mentor the kitchen staff in proper cooking techniques and adherence to recipes and quality standards.
  
  Foster a positive work environment for team members
• Conduct daily shift briefings with culinary team members.
  
  Ensure all team members are fully equipped to do their jobs
• Coordinator with the restaurant team to ensure guests are provided with an outstanding experience
• Inventory management and ordering stock

Chef de Cuisine Requirements:

• 2 years experience in a comparable role, preferably within a luxury hotel/resort
• Exceptional communication, time management and organisational skills
• A creative, confident team player who can hold their own
• Experience using hospitality software systems is an asset
• Ability to lift items up to 50 pound as occasional lifting may be required
