Business Analyst

Business Analyst - IT Services - Oxfordshire (hybrid working)


Up to £40,000 PA

Our client, a well-establish and reputable managed service provider is seeking a Business Analyst to join them on a permanent basis.

They provide a wealth of different technical services, predominately to government and defence clients.

Role overview:


Reporting directly into the Head of Project Management, you'll be responsible for a wide variety of tasks and play a key role within the business providing the link between client and customer requirements.

No two days will be the same; this role really does offer the opportunity to gain invaluable exposure to all areas of the business.



Responsibilities:


-Eliciting and validating of client requirements


-Define and model business processes


-Provide quality assurance for product testing


-Capture user stories and epics


-Define and manage acceptance criteria and testing


-Run workshops when required to understand business problems


-Liase with the Project Coordinator to ensure that testing is on schedule



Experience required:


-Previous experience working within a similar role, ideally within the IT/IT services industry (however this is not mandatory)


-Demonstrable experience of requirements management and process development


-Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage an ever changing workload


-Basic knowledge of IT concepts will be highly advantageous


-Hold a BCS, Prince 2, Agile certification would be beneficial


-Experience of modelling tools (i.e., Visio)



Offering up to £40,000 PA (potentially negotiable for the right candidate) plus numerous other benefits including 24 days holiday (plus bank), discretionary bonuses, private health benefits and excellent training/further learning opportunities.



WFH: Initially required onsite full time then ability to WFH 2-3 days per week



Working hours: Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:30



Travel: Some travel to client sites may be required
