Job Title: Home Manager – Social Care Home - Buckinghamshire

Salary: up to £80,000 + benefits

Location: Buckinghamshire

My client is looking for a passionate, knowledgeable, and driven Home Manager to oversee this Social Care Home in Buckinghamshire.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience within care homes and understand what it is to go above and beyond for residents.

You will demonstrate strong leadership and guide the Heads of Department in the day to day running of the homes.

We are looking for someone with a sound financial understanding and budgetary control along with leadership skills.

About the position

• Oversee the smooth running of the care home and all the hospitality outlets
• Manage and develop a team that can grow within the group
• Ensure the highest level of service
• Maximise revenue and manage all P&L
• Assume responsibility of the operations and lead from the front
• Engage with the residents and their families
• Improve and continue the outstanding CQC rating
• Ensure Trust Care support systems are effectively operated
• Oversee the upkeep of the grounds

The successful candidate

• Will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Confident in your knowledge of CQC regulations
• Experience with P&L and managing budgets
• Have a can-do attitude and be willing to go the extra mile
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
