Maintenance Assistant needed for successful technology focused, London based business

Full time role, Monday to Friday only.

Overtime available.

Two positions available - one in East London, one in West London

The Role

As Maintenance Assistant you will play a key role within the building's operation, working alongside the Maintenance Supervisor at each location.

You will ensure visual standards in buildings are maintained to an excellent standard and be responsible for carrying out specific maintenance tasks assigned to you.

This will include:

• preparing and painting walls


• minor electrical works, low voltage, changing light bulbs etc


• moving furniture


• fixing door handles, hinges, etc / hanging whiteboards, TVs, clocks


• minor plumbing work


• laying carpet tiles and moving floor boxes

They have business centres across London, home to a fast growing and diverse workforce.

The Person

As Maintenance Assistant you will already have experience in a similar role, with an understanding of basic maintenance and ideally a good all-round knowledge of building maintenance With basic carpentry, plumbing, decorating, building and minor electrical skills all advantageous you will also need:

• strong communication skills


• good self motivation / ability to solve problems / multitask


• ability to work as part of a team


• experience working with third party trades and contractors

Full time role (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday) covering a cluster of several business centres in London.

Two positions available - one in East London, one in West London
